Join us for the Back from the Brink NM Hub Kickoff on Saturday, July 12, at 6:30 pm at Congregation Nahalat Shalom in Albuquerque. This free event marks the official launch of New Mexico’s involvement in the national Back from the Brink campaign to abolish nuclear weapons. 

Speakers include Eddie Laiche, co-founder of Students for Nuclear Disarmament; Dr. Ira Helfand (Physicians for Social Responsibility, Int’l Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, & ICAN); Dr. Myrriah Gomez (author of Nuclear Nuevo Mexico); and Tina Cordova (co-founder, Tularosa Basin Downwinders Consortium).
