Come help us Defy Gravity!

Volunteers needed to walk alongside the LGBTQIA+ Caucus Pride Float this Saturday, June 7th.

Rendezvous at 9 a.m. on Girard between Central and Lomas.

Theme is "Merry Ol’ Land of OZ.” Inspired by Wicked and The Wizard of OZ films (and all the wonderful interpretations!)

Come dressed* in your best: Flying Monkey (Blue Wings), Munkinlander (Overalls, Orange/Rust/Pastels), Shiz Student (Uniform/Grey) or Ozian (Shimmer/Emerald Green/Glimmer). (Glindies can wear Pink, if so inclined. Elfies in Black tones.)

The event:

• Is Outdoors (projected at a high of 93°—bring SPF!) Water will be provided, but also encourage bringing your own too!
• Is a walk from Central/Girard to Central/San Mateo (but y’all can break off at any point along the route.)
• Is wheelchair friendly, thank Nessa!
• Is Family Friendly.
• Volunteers should be 18+ (Minors need parent/guardian accompaniment.)
